Thanks to the Rio Grande, the Guadalhorce is a green oasis with mild summers and winters (with snow!). You can visit it all year round, every season is beautiful. From our domain you have a spectacular view of a vast valley -with the Mediterranean in the distance- and the mountains of national park Sierra de las Nieves, literally in our backyard. It invites you to go out, on foot or by bike.

In the white village of Yunquera you will find a number of bars and restaurants, a supermarket, a pharmacy and small shops with sun-ripened vegetables and fruit from the area. All within cycling and walking distance.

Between our domain and the village there is an observatory tower (Astrolab) and a sports park with a tree-climbing course and a large outdoor swimming pool with sunbathing area.

In less than an hour's drive you are at the beach, in Ronda, Málaga or Marbella. A beautiful relaxing route along mountain slopes full of pine trees.

Also worth visiting are Mijas, Ojén, Fuengirola and Estepona. The beautiful Seville is two hours away, as is Tarifa, the surfing mecca.
